My wife was delighted with the cape we bought in Arequipa and the service in the Sol Alpaca shop at the Casa Andina hotel.
She was then devastated when the cape was lost with some luggage!
But the Sol Alpaca people here in Peru were so very helpful in assisting me replace it with the identical garment and very promptly too.

I bought several of these capes in the different colors for myself while visiting Peru, and a few for family members as gifts. I have since ordered more for other family members via online Sol Alpaca. I absolutely love them, as do all my family that received them as gifts. They are fabulous for trips as well, easy to pack and versatile for all weathers. I just recently returned from a trip to Switzerland and the capes with various weights of sweaters underneath were all I needed for warmth, with the exception of our visit to The Matterhorn. Sol Alpaca has been great to work with, rapidly responding to any questions and very helpful with difficulties I had online ordering, even taking the time to call me to sort things out. I just ordered another cape for my soon to be daughter in law, as she has commented on how lovely and soft they are. I think she’s going to be delighted with her Christmas present. Thank you to the great staff at Sol Alpaca! Especially Daniela that has helped me on several different orders, but all the staff I have dealt with are great.
